For some reason society has created this notion that you are meant to be who society feels like you need to be. Leaving this sense of identity crisis of not truly knowing who you are. I asked my fiancé the other day, "Do you think that I am anti-social?" and even while I was asking the question I was thinking in my head why are you asking this.
For some reason in my head, I had this thought that because I don't do the things that I use to do or hang out the way I use to hang out that I was classified as anti-social. What I truly realized is that it wasn't the fact that there was something wrong with me. It was something that was changing within me. I have grown, I am evolving. I am not the same Fe that I once was. I getting older and wiser.
I had to remind myself, It's okay to grow, it's okay to evolve. Just because you are changing doesn't mean that there is something wrong with you. It just means that you are growing, you are exploring, you are learning more of who you are; and guess what that is okay.
So as you traveling along this path called LIFE know that there are people, things, places for a season and as the seasons change so do we. We grow, we mature, we evolve, we explore; that is the beauty of life. The beauty of life is not remaining the same, to ever evolve, to ever grow, to never settle. So the next time you feel as if you are distant or that you no longer like the things that you once like. Know that it is okay. It's okay to grow. It's okay to change. It's okay to not remain the same. That's the beauty of this thing called LIFE.
