My biggest blessing was in my redirection. Often times we may not understand the path you're on or what caused you to be on that path but it's through that path that redirection that brings the blessing.
I didn't understand over 10 years ago after dealing with divorce, single parenthood, depression, and anxiety that I would be where I am today. I felt as if my life was just a complete mess. It was a life that I didn't expect, it wasn't how I thought my life would be. I didn't understand at that time why I was experiencing what I was experiencing. I didn't understand the path that I was on and even how I landed on that path.
It's like going down the wrong road to only find the right path. The path that you wouldn't have found unless you got lost. I still don't understand all that I have been through even some things that I didn't think I was going to get through but the redirection that it created in my life was and continues to be a blessing.
Sometimes you don't see the blessing in the storm but know there is a blessing in the storm. There is a blessing in the redirection. Trust God, know that he has it all under control. Know that it is all working out for your good. It's when we can't see our way out that God steps right in and reminds us of how blessed we are. All we have to do is trust, believe, depend on him, and allow Him to order our steps. So the next time you're second-guessing the road that you're traveling or beating yourself up about the redirection that you are on. Know that there is a blessing in the redirection. Know that you had to go down that wrong path to lead to the right path. Trust and know that God can do exceedingly, abundantly all that we have ever asked or ever think of. He's got you!
With love,
Felicia
